Pre-frac / Post-frac Testing
Multi-Chem’s custom approach to chemistry doesn’t end in the lab. It continues in the field with chemical application and is continually monitored with pre and post-frac testing. This level of attention and commitment to service allows us to develop the most optimum solution for each production environment and ensures that your investments are and continue to be protected for the life of the well.

Safe Working Environment
We believe that safety comes first and are dedicated and driven to create safe working environments through continuous improvement and simplification of safety programs and training. In keeping safety attainable and of the highest priority, we are able to pass along both peace of mind and higher returns to our customers, as they don’t have to worry about spending additional time, resources or liability on HS&E. We work with our operators to ensure that we meet and exceed all of their specific containment needs for their well pads.
Water Conditioning
The better the quality of water in your frac, the greater the long-term productivity for your company, as well as a significantly lower LOE. To help prevent souring of shale deposits through bacterial contamination, Multi-Chem performs an extensive on-site evaluation of your water sources to find the best chemical solution suited for water reuse projects and later for your production.
Our line of biocides and biotechnology products have proven to be very effective in unconventional oil and gas plays, as they are formulated to sterilize water used in frac jobs and can provide a significant return on your investment, greatly exceeding the initial cost of the treatment.
Our process of pre and post-frac testing allows us to customize a specific biocide treatment program designed for your unique production environment.
Injection Optimization
Getting the exact amount of chemicals you need, based on your unique environment, system and objectives, is crucial. If your injection is not optimized for your specific needs, you can unintentionally introduce bacteria, scaling and corrosion, lowering your initial production as well as costing you more money.
Multi-Chem doesn’t believe in just dropping off or arbitrarily pumping chemicals. We perform extensive pre-frac and emulsion testing, as well as a full water analysis for scaling, and administer an exact, customized chemical solution. You get exactly what you need – nothing more, nothing less – assuring that you get the correct dosage every time and are never paying for more than what you need or what you get.
And when the frac job is completed, Multi-Chem continues to evaluate your well with additional testing and precise programs to maintain the life of the well, including:

Biocides

Bio Technology

- Carbon footprint reduction by reducing organic biocide matter by ½ due to increased performance at lower treating concentrations

Surfactants
- Anionic
- Relatively low toxicity surfactant and solvent components
- Increases initial production during fracturing while decreasing likelihood of formation damage
- Created using core samples from each formation to account for varying characteristics
Friction Reducers
- Chemistry used is NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certified
- High molecular weight polymer
- Reduces friction in tubulars
- Friction reducer performance is not reduced when combined with other Multi-Chem products (StimLab data available for support)
