Multi-Chem recognizes that the success of our company is reliant on the enduring knowledge, skills and experience of our employees and continuously invests in the development and growth of our team, from management to the field. We encourage all employees to take advantage of technical and chemical training in all product line areas, as well as offer training to enhance skills in other capacities, like management, negotiation, adaptability and conflict resolution.
We benefit from this commitment in many ways, from personal dedication to workforce efficiency. You benefit with superior local service and the peace of mind that you are teaming with the most qualified experts in the industry. In addition, we offer many customer-focused training and education sessions for your operators so you have a deeper understanding of not only the production challenges you face everyday, but also how we help you overcome them, why we do what we do and how they will help you become more successful.

Basic Technology: This class is an overview of basic oil and gas production chemical applications. It is a prerequisite for all other technology courses.
Corrosion Technology: Learn to identify the different types of corrosion, and how and where to apply chemical solutions. The course provides a basic understanding of oilfield production specialty chemicals and their use.
Emulsion Technology: Classroom training emphasizes the occurrences, theory and treatment of regular emulsions. Extensive “hands-on” laboratory testing and product selection exercises are performed and designed to simulate conditions in the field.
Foamer Technology: Learn to identify candidates for foamer application and test procedures associated with it. Classroom and laboratory training in the theoretical and actual causes of gas well loading.
Frac Technology: This 2 day class teaches the basic principles of frac technology and the oil field chemicals used during a frac to alleviate production problems.
Gas Conditioning Technology: Learn the basics of gas production. Special attention given to gas handling equipment. Classroom training oriented toward the theoretical problems associated with oil and gas production, pipeline and transmission. Emphasis is given to prediction and detection of corrosion, hydrates, fouling and foaming in gas handling systems.
MIC Technology: This course covers microbiological agents and their potential effects. Classroom and laboratory training in the bacterial contamination of water and the harmful effects from solids and/or corrosion resulting from bacteria.
Mineral Scale Technology: Learn to identify different types of scale and how to chemically treat it.
Paraffin and Asphaltene Technology: Learn to identify the different types of paraffin and how to treat them. Classroom study involves better technical understanding of the nature, causes and effects of wax and asphaltenes. Extensive “hands-on” laboratory testing and product selection exercises are performed and designed to determine the best products and treatment dosages. Student achieve significant competitive advantage in the art and science of wax and asphaltene removal and control.
Water Clarification Technology: Gain an understanding of the factors that influence the treatment of produced waters and source waters for the removal of undesirable suspended material.Students learn about temperature, particle size, settling velocity, inter-facial film and stabilization of contaminates. They learn proper testing procedures and chemical selection to eliminate contaminates.
Water Technology: Learn to analyze water production from a single well or field to aid in assessing or preventing production problems. The study of composition, structure and properties of matter and the change which it undergoes and the laws that govern these matters. Students learn about elements, compounds, mixtures and the laws of chemistry that govern them.
Adaptability: This class is a 2 day required class that reinforces the need for adaptability in an ever-changing workplace.
ALIGN: This is a 3 day required course. Teaches our four core values of ethics, excellence, commitment, and innovation in this fun, interactive class.
Conflict Resolution: This class is designed to help resolve conflict in a healthy manner.
Counselor Sales Person: Teaches the specific actions that anyone can perform to be perceived as a trusted advisor instead of a pushy salesman.
Emotional Intelligence: Teaches the ability to recognize and understand emotions and develop skill in using them. This awareness is critical in order to manage self and relationships.
Critical Path Strategies: Assists salespeople in using a territory plan and a call plan for more effective sales strategies to meet the needs of customers.
Management Essentials: Learn skills associated with interviewing, coaching, confronting, accountability and managing using DiSC.
Influential Leadership: This course covers the skills of credibility, influence and persuasion for managers, or for anyone seeking greater leadership influence.
The Strategic Negotiator: This course covers the basics of power, purpose, and planning in negotiations and how to help everyone, including participants, win in negotiations.
Power of Presentations: This interactive class helps participants overcome the fear of public speaking. It teaches how to structure speeches and enhance communication effectiveness.
