Multi-Chem Foamers and Chemical Treatments to Optimize Oil and Gas Production
Multi-Chem provides customized foamer solutions and applications that are “fit for use” in a wide variety of operation conditions, such as deepwater production, winterized environments for colder climates and high temperature products that are stable for deep, hot gas wells.
Benefits
- Maximize production capabilities and reduced downtime
- Extend the useful life of current well equipment
- Reduce corrosion in the well by removing water
- Cost-effective alternative to mechanical equipment
- Minimal capital investment required to get program in place
As producing wells mature, production volumes and bottom-hole pressures decrease, making it difficult to carry the produced liquids to the surface. These liquids accumulate in the well, reducing or preventing production, causing what is referred to as liquid loading. This can potentially result in a sudden decline in production, loss of flow in a gas well, and changing pressures in casing, tubing and production lines.
To combat liquid loading, Multi-Chem foamers can reduce the liquid density that causes the reduction in well velocity, helping you achieve a more consistent flow rate, decreased downtime and enhanced production. Depending on your unique production needs, pipeline chemicals such as foamers can be applied in a variety of methods, such as through batch treatments or on a continuous basis down the backside of wells or via a capillary string.
To determine the most optimal foamer treatment for your oil and gas production, Multi-Chem can perform a complete survey of your system, including performance and treatment history, key fluid compositions and key engineering parameters. After application, our chemical experts continue to monitor the well performance as well as make any necessary adjustments to ensure that your production is flowing at its highest potential.
