AcroClear™ - Specialty H₂S Scavenger and Iron Sulfide Dissolver from Multi-Chem

AcroClear™ is an acrolein based H₂S scavenger and iron sulfide dissolver used by Multi-Chem because it consistently out performs many conventional chemical solutions currently available. AcroClear™ has proven to be highly effective in the removal of iron sulfide in production and injection wells. It also assists in helping with pipeline integrity by repairing near wellbore damage caused by iron sulfide deposits and previous acid-jobs and is effective in removing iron sulfide based deposits on pipe or tubular surfaces thus exposing the surface area for effective corrosion inhibitor application.

Benefits

AcroClear™ works quickly, completely and irreversibly because it is highly reactive. Although this high reactivity requires special handling by trained chemical experts, studies show AcroClear™ to be a non-chronic toxin, non-carcinogen, non-mutagen and non-teratogen. AcroClear™ is shown to react rapidly with water to become a non-toxic form which, while still removing sulfides, makes it relatively easy, with proper chemical applications, to meet environmental requirements for overboard water disposal and air permits.
